The Samuel Everett School of Innovation is for families who believe an innovative and non-traditional education is the best option for their child. We welcome students to Samuel Everett as they experience a public education that is flexible, personalized, and relevant.
Day to Day: After pinpointing the level of readiness of each learner, students will be provided with the appropriate Blount County Schools curriculum, materials, and support needed on their pathway to success. Students learn from home four days a week and attend an enrichment class one day a week where the teacher will launch the week's math and reading lessons.
Enrichment Class: One day a week, students come to school for an enrichment class in a small group setting. During the class, students spend the majority of their time working on reading and math skills. In class, the teacher launches and leads a math and reading lesson, which students complete at home throughout the remainder of the week. Students bring the completed lesson back to class the next week.
